This “pause” is just a political stunt to slow or halt funding to programs that Project 2025 seeks to gut. But that’s not how the flow of federal funding works.

This pause will harm environmental justice grants, coastal resiliency projects, disaster relief, clean energy funding, scientific research, and that’s just to name a few.

The impact from this illegal decision will be immediate and potentially catastrophic.
